The Solar Roadways™ on the other hand, replaces all current centralized power stations including coal- and nuclear-powered electricity generation plants. With the Solar Roadways™, the road becomes the power grid, eliminating the need for unsightly utility poles and relay stations. Power is generated everywhere - every road, parking lot, and driveway. No more power outages, roaming or otherwise.

New Energy Technologies is developing the first-of-its kind SolarWindow™ technology.

SolarWindow™ generates clean electricity on see-through glass windows, by making use of the energy of natural sunlight and artificial sources such as fluorescent and LED lighting typically installed in offices, schools, and commercial buildings.

Under an exclusive world-wide licensing agreement with the University of South Florida, together with a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy—National Renewable Energy Laboratory, covering forty two (42) patent applications, we currently have several product development goals for our SolarWindow™ technology:

    • SolarWindow™- Commercial – A flat glass product for installation in new commercial towers under construction and replacement windows;

    • SolarWindow™-Structural Glass – Structural glass walls and curtains for tall structures;

    • SolarWindow™-Architectural Glass – Textured and decorative interior glass walls, room dividers, etc.

    • SolarWindow™-Residential – A window glass for installation in new residential homes under construction and replacement windows;

    • SolarWindow™-Flex – Flexible films which may be applied directly on to glass, similar to aftermarket window tint films, for retrofit to existing commercial towers, buildings, and residential homes; and

    • SolarWindow™-BIPV – Building product components associated with building-integrated-photovoltaic (―BIPV‖) applications in homes, buildings, and office towers.

    • SolarWindow™ coatings for commercial and military aircraft, and the safety and security of military pilots.

Intelligent building automation systems reduce energy consumption without sacrificing comfort.

Siemens offers you building automation systems for all building types, sizes, and for every use. Thanks to open communication standards and interfaces you can integrate a wide choice of different building control disciplines like heating, ventilation, air conditioning applications, lights and blinds, up to safety features, and equipment.

With special features such as centralized, intelligent energy management and highly efficient and innovative energy saving functions, and the effective interaction of all system components and processes you will achieve significant cost and energy savings.

What is an Energy Storage?

Energy Storage for a Sustainable HomePowerwall is a home battery that charges using electricity generated from solar panels, or when utility rates are low, and powers your home in the evening. It also fortifies your home against power outages by providing a backup electricity supply. Automated, compact and simple to install, Powerwall offers independence from the utility grid and the security of an emergency backup.gy servers.

Each Powerwall has a 7 kWh energy storage capacity, sufficient to power most homes during the evening using electricity generated by solar panels during the day. Multiple batteries may be installed together for homes with greater energy needs. A 10 kWh weekly cycle version is available for backup applications.

Building Information Modeling (BIM) is changing how buildings, infrastructure, and utilities are planned, designed, built, and managed. Autodesk BIM solutions help turn information into insight and deliver business value at every step in the process.

The OWC Atmospheric Water Generator works by converting humidity from the air into water through a process of multiple specialized filters, such as carbon filters, reverse osmosis and ultraviolet (UV) light to remove any bacteria, viruses, pollutants, and other harmful substances which are increasingly found in tap and bottled water. In addition it is equipped with a special Air filter which dehumidifies and cleans the air for a healthier environment.
